Retreat is your time to recover, refresh and renew yourself. Beyond all of the distracting tendencies of the mind there is a you that is deeply at peace and ease. It is this stillness that all Yoga practice points to, and it is this stillness I wish to take you towards over the weekend.
Of course, in May we can hope for some lovely weather and you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful and expansive grounds of the Manor in your free time. There are walks in and around the grounds and quiet break-away rooms for you to read, sit and be.
Together, we will practice Hatha Yoga (poses), Pranayama, Meditation and deep restoration in the form of Integrative Restoration Yoga Nidra. This is a meditative enquiry technique designed to reduce natural tensions of the body and mind and ultimately lead you into the discovery of a deep state of peacefulness and ease.
There will also be some discussions and reflections on the philosophy of Yoga and ideas you can take away with you to practice Yoga off of your mat in everyday life.
You can expect to leave on Sunday feeling refreshed and relaxed.
The Venue

The Manor has a long history of hosting groups for Yoga retreats. During your stay you will get to sample delights from the Charney Kitchen - a team of Chefs will be working to provide you with breakfast, lunch and dinner using local and where possible, organic produce.

Accommodation comprises single occupancy rooms with en-suite facilities. There are options to share rooms for those who wish to stay with a friend or partner.

Friday evening :
- 4pm to 6.30pm - Arrival
- 6.30pm - Dinner
- 8pm to 9pm - Introduction and setting intentions for the weekend.
Saturday:
- 7am to 8am - morning Pranayama, Meditation and self-enquiry
- 8am-10am breakfast and free time
- 10am to 12noon - Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra
- 12noon - 2.30pm Lunch and free time
- 2.30pm to 4.30pm - Restorative Hatha Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation
- 4.30- 6.30pm - Free time
- 6.30pm dinner
- 8pm 9.30pm- Yoga Philosophy and Yoga Nidra/iRest
Sunday:
- 7am to 8am - morning Pranayama, Meditation and self-enquiry
- 8am-10am breakfast and free time
- 10am to 12noon - Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra
- 12noon - 2.30pm Lunch and free time
- 2.30pm to 4.45pm - Hatha Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation
- 5pm - departure

Pricing
